More and more people are coming to realize that the “perfect water” system would combine the purity of Reverse Osmosis with the tremendous benefits provided by alkaline, ionized water. Historically, this has not been easily achieved for a variety of reasons. The WQA certified experts at AlkaViva have solved the problem of combining these two phenomenal water technologies. Now you can have perfectly clean and perfectly healthy water!
Drinking alkaline water is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. The body is meant to be in an overall alkalized state,as opposed to an acidic state. Sickness, diseases, and general pain can be prevented through simply ensuring your body is alkaline. Since fluids are a large part of your dietary intake every day,the water you drink will often be the deciding factor as to whether your body is alkaline,or acidic Water is alkalized through a process of ionizing the water.Negative ions - which,in this case the term "negative" is a good thing - are emitted into the water, counteracting the acidity. The alkalinity of water can be measured on a PH chart. The numbers of a PH chart range from 1 to 10 as shown in the diagram shown, with 1 being the worst, and 10 being as alkaline as possible. lonized alkaline water helps the body deal with toxins the body which can help improve the body's metabolic rate, which help with weight loss and proper weight maintenance.Maintaining a body with low amounts of toxins reduce the chances of diseases and sickness in many instances. Alkaline water is often used by people with diabetes, high blood pressure, and overly acidic bodies
The “alkaline” in alkaline water refers to its pH level. The pH level is a number that measures how acidic or alkaline a substance is on a scale of 0-14. For example, something with a pH of 1 would be very acidic, and something with a pH of 13 would be very alkaline.
Alkaline water has a higher pH level than regular drinking water. Because of this, some advocates of alkaline water believe it can neutralize the acid in your body. Normal drinking water is generally a neutral pH of 7. Alkaline water generally has a pH of 8 or 9.
Detoxify your body to remove normal acidic waste products accumulated daily, plus remove toxins accumulated in your body from your environment, prescription drugs, unnatural foods and from the “normal” process of aging. Acid wastes collected in the body can lead to more serious health conditions. Drinking alkaline water daily can help neutralize the acidity that builds up in the body and wash acid waste products from cells and tissues.
Hydrate your body: this is basic to maintain or regain optimum health. During ionization, your alkaline water filter forms your water into micro clusters that are more easily absorbed at the cellular levels thus “super-hydrating” your body. Alkaline Water is rich in important alkaline minerals such as calcium and magnesium, and it’s super-hydrating and energizing as a result of electrolysis filtering. Ionized alkaline water is filtered and ionized, removing the harmful contaminants and leaving only the vital minerals.
Higher alkaline pH water acts as an antioxidant, scavenging for and neutralizing harmful free radicals. Because alkaline water has the ability to give up electrons, it can effectively neutralize and block free-radical damage to the body. Ionized alkaline water seeks out free radicals and converts them into oxygen which your body can use for energy production and tissue oxygenation. Cancer and most other illnesses cannot survive in an oxygenated, alkaline environment.
The good news with Reverse Osmosis is the fact that virtually all dangerous contaminants are removed so you get virtually pure water. There are however some very difficult issues with Reverse Osmosis – especially when you attempt to connect it to a water ionizer. First, in addition to removing most contaminants, Reverse Osmosis removes all the naturally occurring minerals from the water. Water ionization that makes alkaline water needs the naturals minerals to work. So a water ionizer will not work on R/O treated water. Secondly, Reverse Osmosis membranes process a very small volume of water and need a storage tank for the water so it is available when you need it – limiting the amount of water available to you. Annual replacement of the filters ($150 re tail) and bi-annual replacement of the R/O membrane is recommended.
